This place was highly recommended by our wine guide when in Napa. We made reservations for dinner our first night. It's a cute little French bistro. We were seated towards the back at a cozy table. Our waiter was great. Ordered drinks and then the tomato soup, pate, steak and pasta. Food came hot and smelled so good! Everything was so good but the tomato soup hands down the best I've ever had! I would come back here just for that! Great spot, a must for when in Napa and Younteville

I loved this place. It's a much more casual than atmosphere than Bouchon but it delivers on some classic dishes and the service was great and a full bar if you want something other than all the wine you've drank while in Napa Valley. We shared everything amongst 4 of us and could eat all of it. We started with the country pate which was wonderful and want to try Parfait de Foie Blond next time. Next we had 2 orders of the French onion that was rich and delicious and want to try the Crème de Tomate en Croute, which is a house speciality, next time. We had the steak tartare again delicious. It is listed as entree but works as an appetizer to share. We enjoyed two salads, the Couer de Laitue and the Salad Lyonnaise and both were good though the lettuce needed to be dried more after washing on the Lyonnaise. The roasted bone marrow was one of my favorites. And finally we had two orders of Frites that came with a black truffle aioli. We walked away completely stuffed and will definitely be back.

Very French decor, time feels slowed down here, no rush, everyone is smiley and friendly. The food is very good. They use fresh ingredients and the dishes are very comforting and delicious, with well balanced flavors.

I enjoyed a delicious Saturday Lunch at Bistro Jeanty with my wife, and 4 of our dear friends during a wonderful day of wine tasting in Yountville. I wish we could have tried everything on the menu, but alas! There was just too much! My wife and I started the meal by sharing the Quenelles de Brochet - Pike dumplings with lobster sauce. They were simply marvelous! My most sincere apologies for abstaining from sharing a photo of these delectable pillows of flavor, but they were gobbled up before I remembered to take a pic. My wife ordered the Moules à la Normande - Mussels, steamed in cider with crème fraiche & grilled bread, and she loved them. I had a bite, and they were some of the best mussels I have ever had. I enjoyed the Entrecôte Frites - Wagyu flat iron steak with fries & béarnaise sauce, medium rare of course. I could not have been more delighted. The beef was tender, and the fries were fried to perfection. Our server was kind, attentive, and very quick to help us with everything. I wish I could remember his name because I would love to be in his section the next time i'm there. And there for sure will be a next time. As far as the ambiance, for lunch, it was pretty nice! I have been to Paris once, and I can honestly say it looks very much like a bistro on the Champs-Élysées. The only thing that I would complain about is our table, which was right next to the service station, where servers went to retrieve the food from the kitchen. I was constantly brushed up against by servers heading over there. I wish we could have moved the table a foot away from it, but I still give this place cinq étoiles!
